The ars-imago M-BOX is a motorised accessory designed to automate film agitation when developing with the LAB-BOX. Instead of manually turning the crank throughout the process, the M-BOX provides controlled and consistent rotation, allowing you to focus on timing, chemistry or other tasks.
Three different rotation programmes let you select a suitable agitation pattern for each stage of the process, from development and fixing to washing. The controlled movement helps provide even chemical distribution and consistent results, making the M-BOX suitable for both experienced film photographers and anyone taking their first steps into home development.
Designed specifically for the LAB-BOX system, the M-BOX is compatible with both the 135 and 120 film modules. It attaches easily using the supplied magnetic coupling and matches the LAB-BOX with its compact matte-black design and distinctive orange details.
The M-BOX is powered by four rechargeable AA batteries and can be charged via USB-C. A programme selection control and LED indicators make operation simple and provide a clear overview of the remaining battery level.
