Panasonic AW-RP150GJ5 PTZ Control Panel Connectivity and control
The controller connects to PTZ cameras over IP (100BASE-TX with PoE+) or via RS-422 for serial control. Up to 200 cameras can be addressed on an IP network, and up to five cameras over RS-422. Ten direct camera-select buttons and up to twenty camera groups streamline multi-room or multi-studio setups. An SD card slot allows backup and cloning of presets and system settings across controllers or camera fleets.
Monitoring and workflow
A 3G-SDI input feeds the built-in 7-inch WVGA display for return video monitoring, while an ACTIVE THRU 3G-SDI output can pass the same signal downstream. Tally and GPIO terminals support integration with switchers and automation. Power can be supplied via 12 V DC (XLR 4-pin) or PoE+, and the unit’s menu provides seven levels of pan/tilt speed adjustment to match different show styles.
